New Collaborations, Same Exclusions?
How do Creative Sector-City-University partnerships (and the policies that underpin their work) engender new collaborations yet often perpetuate the same exclusions in terms of identity, culture, class, and community?
Panellists will discuss the role institutional processes, policy narratives, and longstanding urban inequalities play in these dynamics, and how the university could be reimagined to create more equitable and inclusive urban futures.
Keri Facer, Edson Burton and Lisa Mooney will each give a 10 minute talk followed by a 30 minute moderated discussion, and closing with Q&A from the audience.
